Jonathan Rogers

Jonathan Rogers

Jonathan M. Rogers is DMOI’s Chief of Staff. In this role, Jonathan is responsible for day-to-day management and strategic planning for the office. He supports the Deputy Mayor in the coordination and oversight of a cluster including eight mayoral agencies, four independent agencies, and public utilities.

Jonathan was previously DMOI's Senior Policy Advisor. He has served in the District Government for nearly 10 years, including policy positions at the District Department of Transportation, the transition office of Mayor-elect Muriel Bowser, and the budget office of Mayor Vincent Gray. Jonathan was the District’s first project manager for Mayor Bowser’s Vision Zero initiative for transportation safety.

Jonathan is a Certified Public Manager, a lean six-sigma green-belt, a former Capital City Fellow and an AmeriCorps alumnus. Prior to his work in District Government, Jonathan was an associate at the National League of Cities and earned his Master of Public Policy degree from the George Washington University. Jonathan is a Ward 2 resident in the District of Columbia.
