Sharada Strasmore is DMOI’s Budget and Data Analyst. In this role, Sharada is responsible for preparing the eight DMOI cluster agencies for budget season and strategic budget planning. Sharada was previously the Shared Micromobility Planner at the District Department of Transportation, where her portfolio included shared bikes and scooters. Sharada was the first program manager for dockless expanding the program from inception to more than 10,000 vehicles across the city. Sharada worked collaboratively across DDOT administrations in this role to align the program with policy and operations. Sharada is a Certified Public Manager and a former Capital City Fellow. Before her work in District Government, Sharada worked at Goldman Sachs and the Peterson Institute for International Economics.
Sharada graduated with her Masters in City and Regional Planning from the Catholic University of America and B.A. from Wheaton College, Massachusetts. Sharada is a Ward 5 resident.
